Our approach
+IMPAC's Ladder Awareness training approach
This ladder awareness training is delivered as a practical seminar focused on how ladder use actually goes wrong in real workplaces. Participants work through safe ladder and stepladder use, pre-use inspection, positioning, access and exit techniques, and the warning signs that a job is starting to drift into unsafe territory.
The session combines trainer-led guidance, discussion, and workplace examples so learners can connect the rules to the kinds of tasks they carry out on site. Rather than stopping at theory, the course focuses on the shortcuts, positioning errors, and hazard conditions that commonly lead to unsafe ladder use and loss of stability during work at height.
