Fire Extinguisher Refresher course overview

Assuming you remember how to safely use a fire extinguisher just because you took a course years ago is a gamble. Skills fade over time, and when a fire occurs, hesitation or selecting the wrong extinguisher can make the situation worse rather than contain it. This two-hour Fire Extinguisher Refresher course is designed for those who need to revisit and strengthen their ability to act safely and use fire equipment correctly.
 
We move away from refreshers that rely on re-reading procedures or watching outdated videos. Our industry-experienced trainers guide learners through the key elements of fire response, reinforcing fire classes, types of extinguishers and their uses, and basic fire science principles. Participants revisit how to assess a situation, understand when it is safe to act, and select the most appropriate response. They also return to hands-on use of fire extinguishers in a controlled environment to rebuild confidence and reinforce correct technique.
 
IMPAC’s focus is on supporting learners to maintain a consistent, high-quality approach to fire response. Participants leave with a refreshed understanding of how to use fire equipment safely, the confidence to act when it is appropriate, and the practical skills to support an effective response in a fire emergency.
