A verification of competency assessment is designed to confirm whether someone can apply their training safely and consistently in the work they are actually expected to carry out. IMPAC’s assessors observe people performing relevant tasks, ask targeted questions about the controls and procedures being used, and check that critical decisions are being made correctly in the moment.
Because verification requirements vary between workplaces and activities, the assessment stays closely connected to the specific task, equipment, hazards, permits, and procedures involved.
