Our approach
+IMPAC's NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety training approach
This course is delivered using a block-course approach that gives learners time to balance study with work and personal commitments while building their understanding progressively across the course. Facilitators use guided discussion, worked examples, group activities, practical scenarios, and assessment preparation exercises to help learners connect health and safety concepts to the kinds of decisions made in real workplaces.
Group learning and tutor support are a strong part of the experience throughout the course. Learners are encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, and learn from the experiences of others while working through topics such as contractor management, incident investigation, risk assessment, and safe systems of work. Tutors support learners as they build confidence with both the course content and the assessment requirements, helping keep the learning practical, applied, and relevant to real workplace situations.
