Our approach
+IMPAC's ICAM Governance Workshop training approach
This is a practical, discussion-led workshop for leaders who need to review investigations well, not run the investigation themselves. Facilitators work through sample findings, report-review exercises, and guided discussion so participants can test whether an investigation has identified the real causes, whether recommendations are proportionate, and whether follow-up actions are likely to improve safety performance.
The session focuses on the judgement calls leaders actually need to make. Participants look at how ICAM methodology is applied, how organisational and human factors should show up in an investigation, and what good governance oversight looks like when accountability, learning, legal privilege, and confidentiality all need to be considered together.
