IMPAC delivers this course as a practical workshop rather than a lecture. Learners work through realistic workplace scenarios, group discussion, and guided exercises that show how to spot issues early, raise them clearly, and keep health and safety conversations focused on solutions.

The course runs for 1 day, allowing learners to work through core health and safety responsibilities, hazard and incident reporting, and practical participation skills that can be applied in everyday work.
Learners leave with practical skills they can apply straight away to support safer work and stronger workplace participation. They build understanding of key duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, basic risk management principles, workplace communication, and why incident reporting matters. The course is designed to help workers contribute more confidently and positively to everyday health and safety practices.
Yes, this course is available for in-house delivery nationwide. In-house training can help organisations develop a more consistent approach to workplace health and safety participation, communication, and day-to-day safety leadership across teams.
