The Safeguard conference starts tomorrow | IMPAC health and safety

27 May, 2019  |  News

This year’s Safeguard National Health & Safety Conference starts tomorrow, Tuesday 28 May at SkyCity, with a key highlight being the New Zealand Workplace Health & Safety Awards.

IMPAC is pleased to be once again sponsoring the ‘Best Collaboration between PCBUs’ Award. We’ve been an award sponsor for over 10 years and have sponsored this category since its inception three years ago. We know collaboration between PCBUs takes commitment, investment, engagement, and sheer hard work to make it successful, compliant, and most importantly, to ensure people get home safe from work every day.

The category finalists are Christchurch International Airport and North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery Alliance – we wish them both the best of luck!

This year we’re not only one of the conference’s Gold Sponsors, we’re also sponsoring day two’s networking breakfast. Join IMPAC’s Richard Gibson and Haibo Yang, along with Auckland Council’s Oliver Sanandres to hear their views on transforming your health and safety data into meaningful actionable insights and demonstrating the value and power of our Safety Insights tool.

IMPAC hit a milestone birthday this year, so a big part of our focus at the conference is going to be our 20-year journey. Take a look at the IMPAC 20 Year Timeline at our stand and have a go at the timeline quiz – there’s the chance to win 3 x $500 training credits, so remember to visit the team to test your knowledge!

We look forward to seeing you there!
