IMPAC backs Civil Contractors New Zealand as Major Associate to strengthen support for the civil construction sector

IMPAC is proud to announce its new support of Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ) as a Major Associate, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the industries that build, maintain and keep New Zealand moving.

CCNZ represents more than 800 member organisations working across civil engineering, construction and general contracting. From roads, water networks and wastewater systems to the infrastructure that keeps businesses and communities connected, its members play a vital role in New Zealand’s economy and way of life.

For IMPAC, supporting CCNZ is a natural fit.

Construction and contracting businesses operate in high-risk, high-consequence environments where health and safety can’t be treated as a paperwork exercise. Health and safety processes have to work in the real world - on site, under pressure, and across complex contractor and supply chain relationships. That’s exactly where IMPAC has built its reputation.

As a New Zealand-owned and operated health and safety specialist, IMPAC has deep ties to the construction industry through its advisory work, contractor prequalification support, training, risk management systems, PPE and workwear solutions, and specialist resourcing support within Kiwi workplaces. IMPAC works with organisations that need safety to be operational, credible and fit for purpose.

"We’re proud to support Civil Contractors New Zealand because its members are doing essential work in some of the country’s most demanding environments," said Logan Aves, IMPAC Managing Director. "There’s a strong alignment between the work CCNZ does for the sector and the work we do every day - helping organisations move beyond box-ticking to build health and safety practices that genuinely protect people and strengthen performance."

As part of the new Major Associate relationship, IMPAC is offering CCNZ members a package of practical benefits designed to make expert support more accessible. These include:

  • an initial 30-minute online or phone-based health and safety consultation at no cost.
  • discounted health and safety training courses.
  • complimentary onsite or online toolbox training focused on heights safety, technical product training, and the correct and effective use of PPE and workwear.
  • complimentary expert advice and guidance on health and safety prequalification, including TŌTIKA.

IMPAC says the offer is designed to give CCNZ members practical, commercially realistic support they can apply immediately - whether they need help lifting capability, meeting industry requirements with more confidence, or strengthening safety performance across their operations.

"Civil contractors need partners who understand the realities of the sector," Aves said. "We’re excited to support CCNZ members with practical advice, relevant training and on-the-ground solutions that help keep people safe and work moving."
