Web Developer 

We're looking for Web Developer to join the team in our Wellington office.

Experienced with CMS such as SilverStripe, Joomla, or Drupal? We want you! This is an extremely varied role that will suit someone who is passionate about both front-end and back-end development.

Applicants must have experience in the following: 

  • Extensive experience with Apache, MySQL, PHP
  • HTML5, CSS3 / SASS
  • Website optimisation
  • JQuery / Javascript
  • Working with 3rd party APIs
  • Shopping cart functionality implementation

Full-time development experience within SilverStripe Content Management System is desirable.

Soft skills:

  • Stronger verbal communications skills than written, or communication by way of a whiteboard or wireframes
  • Ability to write just enough when required in a way that is understood by stakeholders
  • Don’t mind presenting your work to the team
  • Team Fit (Generally get on well with your team members)
  • Participate in design and planning sessions

Technical Sales Engineer

We're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our Auckland or Wellington office. This position is responsible for the sales pipeline and sales execution process for IMPAC’s Risk Manager solution, ensuring:

  • the voice of the customer is represented within IMPAC
  • the customers’ objectives and opportunities in the short and long term are well understood
  • oversight of the Risk Manager sales pipeline
  • management of any Request for Pricing (RFP) opportunities
  • sales proposals are built collaboratively with the customer services and solution delivery team
  • adequate technical expertise in meetings with prospects and customers
  • effective solutions are presented to customers through collaboration
  • proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs
  • help to qualify leads by using the deep understanding of the product’s ideal customer pain points.

 Job-specific outcomes:

  • Develop, manage, and continually improve client relationships
  • Ensure relevant Risk Manager solutions are provided to meet client challenges and opportunities
  • RFP process is managed including the development of demo sites and setting up test environments
  • Strong relationships with internal teams and external audiences
  • Coaching and professional development to team member account managers in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills

Desired qualifications and experience:               

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Experience in a technical sales role
  • Ability to build test environment to meet customer needs
  • Experience working with customers to meet their goals
  • Strong customer focus
  • Understanding of financial budgets, forecasts, and reports
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and communicate with others at all levels
  • Detail-oriented focus and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
