Our approach
+IMPAC's Working at Heights Refresher training approach
Our working at heights refresher training is designed to bring experienced learners back to the decisions and checks that matter most on the job. Rather than repeating theory for the sake of it, the session focuses on the points where standards often slip over time: identifying hazards properly, choosing and applying controls, checking equipment condition and fit, and knowing what needs to happen before work starts.
Learners work through practical scenarios and trainer-led discussion that reflect real workplace pressures, including routine tasks, changing conditions, documentation requirements, and emergency planning. The training reconnects learners with the practical application of the height safety knowledge they already use at work, while reinforcing how permits, legislative duties, and notification requirements relate to the task being carried out.
