This pre-recorded webinar provides the same comprehensive training as the in-person course, enabling learners to explain the types of work permits, understand the roles of those involved in the work permit system, and meet the requirements for receiving a work permit.
The course also covers the preparatory requirements when applying for a work permit, accepting a work permit, and undertaking work under the permit, as well as the controls and actions required at the end of a work period or upon completion of work.

Curriculum
What you'll cover
- Company personnel and contractors who receive work permits in the workplace.
- Workers involved in high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, working at height, or excavation where work is controlled through a permit system.
- People who need to understand permit conditions, communication requirements, and the controls that apply before and during permitted work.
Our approach
+IMPAC's Permit Receiver (Pre-recorded Webinar) training approach
IMPAC delivers this course in a way that keeps the focus on what permit receivers actually need to do before work starts, while work is underway, and when conditions change. Learners work through the permit system step by step, using practical examples to understand the checks, conversations, and decisions that matter on site.
The learning covers more than paperwork. It helps participants build confidence in reading permit conditions, confirming that required controls are in place, understanding the limits of the permit, and knowing when work should pause or not proceed. Examples drawn from high-risk work such as hot work, confined spaces, working at height, and excavation help connect the permit process back to real workplace risks.
Because this is a pre-recorded webinar, learners can move through the content at a steady pace and revisit key parts where needed. That makes it easier to absorb the details around communication, documentation, and control verification without rushing through the course.
