IMPAC requires any person who enters our offices or sites to be fully vaccinated, to help ensure the wellbeing and safety of our people and everyone we welcome there.

Effective 1 December 2021, we are mandating this policy and ask if you are visiting our offices or any training venue hired by us, that you will confirm that you are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

As health and safety experts, IMPAC has a commitment and passion for workplace wellbeing, and we strongly support vaccination as a critical protection against Covid-19. Following consultation with staff, endorsed by our Leadership Team and ratified by our Board, IMPAC is standing together with many of our client organisations in this requirement.

Whether staff, client, student, visitor, contractor or supplier, you will be asked to confirm your vaccination status.

Please ensure you have proof of vaccination with you. We may ask you to provide this to us.

We do respect that vaccination is an individual choice and where necessary, we will work in good faith with individuals to reach a fair and reasonable outcome, whilst ensuring the safety of all.

+  Meetings at IMPAC

You will note on meeting invites from IMPAC that, by accepting the invitation from us, you are confirming you are fully vaccinated.
If you are unable to attend a meeting at our office, please talk to the invite owner to arrange an MS Teams or Zoom link to join or another solution.

+  Training with IMPAC

To attend face-to-face training at IMPAC’s training venues in Auckland and Wellington or any other venue hired by IMPAC, you will need to be fully vaccinated.
When making an online booking, you or the person making the booking on your behalf will be asked to confirm this. Please ensure you have proof of vaccination with you. We may ask you to provide this to us.

If you are unable to attend face-to-face training, we do offer online and eLearning, so recommend you email our training team for guidance.

+  If you have a medical exemption

Please contact our Head of Training. We will review on a case-by-case basis and permission to attend training is at IMPAC’s sole discretion.

+  IMPAC working at your site

For training at a client’s own venue/site, we will adhere to your requirements but as part of our booking process with you, we will request confirmation that any of your staff working with us or attending training with us are fully vaccinated.

If it is proposed by you that unvaccinated people work with us or attend training on your site, we will consider this on a case-by-case basis and in consultation with IMPAC staff and trainers involved in the work.

+  Contractors, Suppliers and other visitors

Before entering our offices or sites, you will be asked to confirm your vaccination status on our Visitor Registration System.
We will only allow fully vaccinated people to visit inside our offices.

Please ensure you have proof of vaccination with you. We may ask you to provide this to us.

If not, please do not enter; call your IMPAC contact or 0800 246 722 for guidance.

Collecting your data

Your response to our question asking your vaccination status at time of booking training on our website or at signing in at our office or site will be securely stored within IMPAC’s training or visitor registration systems, but no medical documentation or verification of vaccination is stored. Your response information is available to limited IMPAC staff only as is relevant and specific to your presence at our office or site. This information will not be shared with any third party. You must be able to provide verification of full vaccination on request. Otherwise, you may be asked to leave and no recompense will be given.

IMPAC continues with other protocols and controls to help keep everyone safe and well. Our Covid-19 Risk Assessment is reviewed regularly and updated as required.

We believe it is the individual right of each IMPAC staff member or associate to require anyone they are in physical contact with for IMPAC business to confirm they are fully vaccinated. If you require any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
