Injuries caused by manual handling are one of the most common causes of time off work and can be a considerable cost to the employer. These injuries often also cause severe discomfort or disability for the injured person. We have designed a practical course intended to provide all staff with an understanding of the risk factors and how to minimise risk, as well as practical manual handling techniques.

This course is ideal for all employees who are involved in planning and /or undertaking manual handling tasks and is usually offered as a 1 day course along with Prevention and Management of Discomfort, Pain and Injury (DPI).
