This two day course will help you understand and apply the ICAM root cause investigation methodology. ICAM investigators are a valuable asset in any organisation seeking to maximise learning from adverse events to avoid reoccurrence and improve future resilience to hazards. This course introduces best practice in incident investigation and develops practical skills which you can apply back in your workplace.

This course is designed for safety, operational, maintenance and supervisory personnel from all industry sectors who may currently participate in investigations and are aiming to become ICAM investigators involved in more complex events.

We prefer candidates to have some general knowledge and experience of accident investigation or to have completed Unit Standard 17601.
